Hydrostone or Cold Casting.
Hydrostone, a fortified plaster, offers greater durability and strength compared to conventional plaster, and can be hand painted with a guilded wax to resemble bronze or silver or sealed in Neutral.
Cold Casting involves a secondary mould of the casting which is then filled with a mixture of metal filling and resin to achieve the appearance, texture, and durability resembling foundry bronze or metals.
Cold casting is available in the following finishes: Bronze, Brass, Copper, Iron and Aluminium.

Please note that this type of casting requires participants to be able to stay very still for up to 45 minutes (depending on size of group). Therefore we generally advise this casting to children over the age of 6.
