A life sculpture embedded with essence, profound connection and strength. The antique sculpture of the Roman god Mercurius is tied to Valentin who favoured the God and proudly passed it on to his godson Noah Mercurius. Here we see them hand in hand, eternally capturing their profound connection and story.
I love when I am given complete freedom to tune in and design what attunes to the spirit of the individuals.
I chose to embed aventurine crystal as its properties complement and reflect those of Mercurius.
The stone was personally sourced from a sacred cave set within the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. Earthing this sculpture with history and the roots of their home.
